Let's starts with France in this country people celebrate "Mardi Gras" and like in UK everyone stays at home and starts cooking some pancakes, also in some big cites we can participe in festival, because in this same time the we can celebrate the last week of carnival. In France and England this feast looks quite this same, I'm not 100% sure but I think that it has some historicals connetions between Franc and England. As we know the princes form Normandy established the new kingdom and even Henry IV and all the royal court speak in Franch, so these two country have culture which is close enough.

In Poland we have "Tłusty Czwartek" it's not Tuesday  like in France and Uk but there it is on Thursday. The other  main difference it's that during this feast people in Poland eat donuts not pancakes. We have our own donuts its something unique, because we have not a lot of in common with France or England and that's maybe why we calebrate this feast on diffrent day.
